jogos 2010/2011: Chelsea vs Manchester United - 18ª jornada (jogo em atraso)
O Chelsea venceu esta noite o Manchester United por 2-1 (0-1 ao intervalo).
Os golos foram marcado pelo David Luiz e Lampard.
O David Luiz esteve em campo 81', marcou o 1º golo do chelsea e levou um cartão amarelo
Notas de Jogo:
3 If referee Martin Atkinson, who has awarded the most penalties and shown most red cards in the PL this season, gave that for a foul it was harsh as O'Shea and Luiz were pulling each other's shirts.
6 David Luiz has already caught the eye, couple of good interceptions and brings the ball out of defence with authority and composure.
8 Not sure whether Luiz has been told to stick to Hernandez wherever he goes as he's chased the United striker all the way back into the other half before giving away a free-kick.
21 Rooney wastes a good chance for United. Great ball in from the left by Nani, which is misjudged by Luiz, but also by Rooney, whose attempted header comes off his right shoulder!
23 Rooney, who can count himself lucky to be playing tonight, gets a few jeers after barging into Ramires after feeling he should have had a free-kick for a challenge by Luiz. Tasty contest.
27 United stepping up the pressure as Fletcher gets in down the right, low cross cleared away by Luiz - momentarily thought he was going to turn it into his own net!
28 David Luiz just reeling on the floor following a thunderous shot from Patrice Evra. Must have hurt, but he's up pretty quickly after a couple of sharp intakes of breath.
42 Another good run forward from Luiz, he helps to create space for Malouda to have a shot from 25 yards, but it's very weak and it's easy for Van der Sar to get down to and make the save. Good response in the last five minutes from Chelsea.
54 GOAL! Chelsea back in it after poor defending by United as Luiz scores his first goal for the club.
55 United failed to get the ball beyond the halfway line in clearing that corner and it is eventually chucked back into the box, helped on by Ivanovic and a fine volleyed finish from Luiz, who celebrates with Drogba - he may have to wait to come on now!
56 Looks like United may have to make a change as Evra was hurt in trying to stop Luiz scoring. He's come back on the pitch, but Fabio looked like he was ready to come on. We'll see in a few minutes.
57 Hernandez goes down following a robust challenge from Luiz. The ball had gone, surprised the ref didn't give a free-kick. Luiz proving effective at both ends.
61 Luiz follows up his first goal for Chelsea with a yellow card, goes straight through the back of Rooney and can't complain with that decision.
75 Rooney shows great strength to wriggle free from Luiz in the box and fires a shot straight at Cech which is beaten away. Luiz was manhandling Rooney a bit much there.
77 David Luiz is extremely lucky not to have been shown a second yellow card after getting away with a trip on Rooney. Putting aside the argument that Rooney should be banned for this game, Luiz got away with that one.
81 SUB: Bosingwa comes on for Luiz, supposedly because he's injured, but may be more to prevent him being sent off. Sometimes his enthusiasm looks like it may get the better of him, while there's also some cynicism in there as well.

David Luiz: “O Benfica entra no nosso coração e nunca mais sai”
Embora tenha deixado recentemente o Benfica para rumar ao Chelsea, David Luiz não deixou passar o aniversário do Clube em claro e fez questão de se unir a uma Família da qual fará sempre parte: A Família Benfiquista! Leia a carta do central brasileiro na íntegra.
“Caros amigos,
Esta foi a forma que encontrei para, não podendo estar presente, poder, pelo menos, partilhar com vocês o que foram os últimos quatro anos da minha vida, o que representaram no meu crescimento e amadurecimento como homem e atleta.
Aprendi a amar o Benfica porque nesta caminhada vivi vitórias e derrotas, alegrias e tristezas, mas, fosse qual fosse o momento, nunca me senti sozinho. Sempre tive com quem partilhar todos os sentimentos, fosse dentro de campo ou fora dele, porque o Benfica entra no nosso coração e nunca mais sai. Por isso levei, levo e levarei sempre o Benfica no coração.
O Benfica é paixão, garra, cumplicidade, amizade, companheirismo, respeito, lealdade, conquista... Enfim, Benfica é parte da minha vida e nenhuma palavra consegue expressar a real grandeza deste Clube.
Quero, na pessoa do presidente, agradecer a todos os adeptos e funcionários do Clube o privilégio que me deram de poder fazer parte desta enorme Família Benfiquista. Agradecer, ainda, a todos os meus companheiros tudo o que partilharam comigo e dizer-lhes que continuo a acreditar que podem ganhar tudo!
